Must read

After losing more than 22’ on the first stage, Sébastien Loeb is clawing back time in the Saudi dunes. After 351 km, the man from Alsace lies in sixth position, a little more than 10 minutes behind the current stage leader Nasser Al-Attiyah.

A burst of extra effort from Nasser Al-Attiyah has allowed him to move ahead of Stéphane Peterhansel, who, after 315 km, now lies 55 seconds behind the Qatari. In his homeland, Yasir Seaidan is keeping hold of third position, 3’28 behind the stage leader. After Yazeed Al-Rajhi, now Mathieu Serradori has jumped in front of Carlos Sainz, who now lies in sixth place, more than 8’ behind Al-Attiyah.
